Meet Millie

Danielle has been desperate for a dog for, I'd say, 10 years and it was me making the case against the idea. Yesterday, in a moment of weakness I succumbed. There was a subtle build-up of photos by email and "we could have a look at one or two at the weekend' until the phone call at 4pm with a "we've found some and there's only two left from the litter and we need to see them tonight and and and....". So, home from work, a quick bite to eat and a one and a half hour drive to Stourport to see these two 10-week old cockapoo puppies, both black. Of course she fell in love with one of them instantly. 

Despite not having anything dog-related at home we bought her there and then and stopped off at the 24-hour Tesco to grab some essentials on the way back. She was brilliant in the car and settled really well when we got home, aside from the odd accident if you know what I mean.

What a July we've had. Eldest son Matt and partner Steph moved into their first home, got engaged and announced that they're expecting a baby. Me and Andy celebrated our joint birthday, I got my promotion at work and we added Millie to the family to complete the set!
