Sempervivum

sounds better than the common name of houseleeks. It is a super plant, this one is in a shallow container and the florets are so tightly packed together it is difficult to edge one out which needs doing occasionally. Weeds cannot get in and slugs aren't interested.
We did two tip trips (say that quickly) early and have finally finished off loading the garden bags.
