Abingdon bricks through the ages
Am in a tearing hurry today.
Blipped this en route to Waitrose. It's Checker Walk - in one of the oldest parts of Abingdon. It leads down to the 13th century old checker building - now the beautiful tiny Unicorn Theatre (out of sight - next to the pink hydrangeas right at the back).
I'm guessing the bricks and cobblestones shown here span 3 or 4 centuries right up to the late 20th.
Many thanks for all your lovely comments on my 200th blipday yesterday. For the first time my blip got onto the page 1 of the spotlight page :)
My blipping will be sporadic and my commenting will be limited over the next fortnight but I'll catch up when I can.
Thanks again for yesterday.
