Over Yonder

A Dozen Roses

My Dear Fellow,

I'm sure it has been a hard day. Have a buncha flowers.

My day was distinguished by a meeting wherein it was debated for ten long minutes as to whether a draft plan should be issued but with caveats that it WAS just a draft or whether we should not issue it because people might take it seriously but maybe with caveats but maybe not because people would take it seriously.

It is amazing how many times we looped that particular circle.

We then spent another ten minutes on whether the project status was green because we hadn't missed any milestones or whether it was amber because we only had a draft plan that no-one had seen so couldn't really be sure if we had missed any deadlines or not. Maybe if we issued a draft plan. With caveats. But maybe not. Because people might take it seriously. So we should be amber. No, green.

Yours, banging his head off the desk in frustration.
