The Kid had been down in Norfolk with her Nana for a few days and so I travelled down, on the hottest day of the year, to join her for the last few days of the holiday. I emphasise the hottest day of the year, as the flipping air conditioning broke down on the coach I was on, rendering it a mobile sauna. Cue, a measly helping of water and O.J. from Virgin Trains.

Also, a massive lightning storm ( see additional pic of it brewing) struck very close to the train, come to think of it, around the same time the air con broke...
