Oh dear! -

No deer.
We did our 'deer' walk this morning through the woods above Ravenroyd and back in to the St Ives Estate across Altar Lane but no deer were spotted.

It is more difficult at this time of year of course with all the foliage and greenery that can hide them.

Leaving the woods to enter Ravenroyd where there are several equestrian hubs, I saw this group of horses on the horizon which I thought would make a reasonable wide Wednesday shot. They followed us back to the stables.

A pleasant and warm walk to start the day
