2016 Monday -- Out of the Fog

Sometime after the lunch hour, I suggested that we take a drive.

First we made a quick stop at "The Pieman Deli & Bakery" to get a cookie or two. They had none so Mr. Fun went next door to the Top Dog Coffee Shop and paid three prices, but returned to the car with two big and delicious chocolate chip cookies.

Then we took the pups to Hardy Park for a quick walk, and then a quick stop at the library where I scored big time and found a recent issue of one of my favorite magazines, Coastal Living, in the Friend's of the Library Store for twenty-five cents. I also bought a biography of Steve Jobs for $2.00.

Then I offered the thought that we drive south 4 miles and then west a couple more miles towatd San Luis Obispo to find some warm sunshine, and that's what we did.

We stopped at El Chorro Regional Park and Campground to walk the pups and warm ourselves in the sunshine and that's where these photos come from.

Then we drove back into winter and to the house. For dinner we dipped into a delicious pot of beans that Mr. Fun had made for us earlier in the day.

And that was how we spent the last Monday in July.
