Work of the Leaf cutter Bee......

My sister, who lives in Gloucestershire, was telling me that all the leaves on her rose bush had been eaten by the Leaf cutter Bee.    I had never seen this before and today she mailed me a leaf.   Fascinating.   I have been reading up about them on the net and they make a long tube like structure with the leaves to form a nest.
