Crocosmia

I was reading Leonine's post showing his surviving Crocosmia plant. I love my Crocosmia, and picked this sample just before we has a sudden downpour of rain. You can see the three stages of development on the one flower stem: the buds; the perfect flowers and those flowers that are now past their best. It's a great colour too.
