Day 8: Day Trip to Lyon

The storm last night left it a bit cooler today (though not so much last night), so we headed off to Lyon for the day. This is a picture of a water feature.

Mooched around a few shop ("Mummy, mummy, can I have this? Can I have this?), then lunch and up to the top of the old town on the funicular. We walked back down counting steps (450). Lyon is a beautiful town with some great shops, especially the haberdashery shop I could have stayed in for hours, but for my impatient tired and hot family.

Tonight it has clouded over a bit, I hope no more hail is coming!
