Rooves or roofs

With the exception of the nearest, these are all our rooves, in a variety of states of repair.
An unexpected phone call from friends means I have three guests arriving tomorrow evening. A variety of thing to sort out - in particular working our where my wife hides all the bedding. Luckily enough food in the freezer to raid to make life relatively easy.
With apologies for my spelling of rooves - I thought this was the normal spelling for the plural of roof but the spell check was not happy and an internet question gave the answer "Roofs is the plural of roof in all varieties of English. Rooves is an old secondary form, and it still appears occasionally by analogy with other irregular plurals such as hooves, but it is not common enough to be considered standard."
I am probably quite pleased to be not common enough to be considered standard!
