Brown Hawker.
I found this fine specimen on some organic celery this morning. The celery had come from Holland and was stored in a chill room over night. So he was quite lifeless to begin with. I've looked up what he is and where he'd come from, and it look's like they're widespread South and South East England, but not in Scotland. So I'm not sure if he came from Holland or perhaps got lift from down South. I'm pretty sure though the lorry come's from Holland straight to Glasgow! Well where ever he came from, he certainly brightened my day. A little girl I know named him Dutchie and was also amazed by him. Sadly he has a chunk out of one wing and a missing leg, if he survives the night I'll take him back to the farm and release him by the pond. Happy Thursday folk's.
