Whistlers Peak

Sorry its another mountain shot but then we are in the Canadian Rockies. A few rest days before more orienteering next weekend. Well - a rest for me, Mr P and son R - we took the cable car up Whistlers Peak and walked the final 1.5km with just 200m of climb to the summit.
But no rest for Son M who decided to jog from the base of the cable car at 1260m  up to the summit at 2470m and jog back down again. He said it was only 13.5km round trip and not a problem.   He beat us by about 2 hours because of the queues for the cable car and my very slow walk to the summit in the thin mountain air.
