Great sky, plants, dog?

There was a really lovely sky today and I very nearly blipped it. You can see a bit of it behind Chloe. There were also some very attractive plants on the banks today but there was also a lot of ragwort. Years ago I believe it was an obligation to irraticate it but now it seems to be all over the place. Does anyone know why and when the change took place. (If anyone doesn't know what it is you can see some on the top left of the photo.
