Monster

This little chap, all of 6mm across, was scurrying across our conservatory floor while we waited for the rain clouds to pass (which they did when it was too late to go for a walk).
We try not to discourage spiders too much, this dates from the time when we had a dog. Like all dogs she occasionally picked up fleas, any that fell into the carpet wouldn't have lasted long, some of our house spiders were BIG.
