Back to nature

We had a quick shop in Clarks this morning. A is now a size 6 1/2f and needed some new shoes, P is still a size 8 (has been for nearly a year now!) and we got her some new school shoes ready for September. I think A is soon going to catch her up!

We then went to the country park and met G&G for a picnic, walk and play. We had a lovely time. We went to the animal hides but didn't see very much! P did however loose her hat out of the window and we had to hook it back up with stick! Then when we were sat by the river a beautiful heron flew down and landed on the river bank. I've never seen one so close up before. The children had fun pretending to be birds on the walk back round the lake with long leaves as wings. It was lovely to be out in the sun and fresh air and seeing the children being so engaged with all the things I loved as a child and still do.
