Poppies continue to flower

as the rain continues to fall. A little midgy when taking this, a fun few minutes playing with the settings. A good day with an entertaining couple hours at coffee time with a friend from the village. Later followed by a perplexing time when the sewing machine wouldn't work. I know I'm not alone in this but my trusty Pfaff machine is over 40 years old and when working has a smooth soothing sound. A small sewing job had to be dealt with but .... a problem with the bobbin mechanism. I dragged John in to look at it and after taking the bobbin feeder area apart, giving it a clean and rubbing his chin it still didn't work. I always believe that if it can be fixed John will do it and after further thought and twiddling he could see where the problem lay. (A casing under the feeder foot had moved which in turn let the bobbin mechanism rotate thereby jamming the needle). It's some months since using it and remember the needle jamming and breaking, suspect I damaged it then.
