Welsh Poppy Seedhead
As it is Tuesday I decided that I would make a focus stacked macro image today. This is the tiny (2 cm) seedhead of a Welsh poppy. All the seeds have long been scattered and I just haven't got around to cutting the dead stems back.
This photo was made with photo stacking 10 images in Photoshop. I did try the focus bracket setting on my Olympus EM-5 ii, using 30 shots with the focussing increments set to 5, but I wasn't very successful. I decided the version where I moved the focus point manually gave a much better result. I will have to try again with another subject and play with the settings.
