I walked around the University of Washington campus before meeting a friend for lunch. The sky was so blue and there were few people around. This blip is the newly restored Denny Hall. They are still working on it, but the building is so beautiful. The stones have all been cleaned and you can see all of the different colors in each of them. When I left work a year ago, the work had barely begun, so it was amazing to see the change.
“Walkers are 'practitioners of the city,' for the city is made to be walked. A city is a language, a repository of possibilities, and walking is the act of speaking that language, of selecting from those possibilities. ”
― Rebecca Solnit, Wanderlust: A History of Walking
