Fanny's Farm

George and I visited Fanny's Farm (closed on Mondays, see July 23).
It is a very quirky farm shop and cafe. The garden is lush with flowers, many growing in chimney pots and other strange containers. There are wire sculptures, lanterns and strange signs littered everywhere, and odd collections such as these bottles hidden on a shelf on the side of a shed.
There was a family enjoying coffee in the tree house so we had ours in the cafe, surrounded by faded bunting, watercolours for sale and all kinds of oddities.
The farm shop itself was very tempting with home made cakes and preserves and lovely fresh vegetables and flowers. We bought an apple and loganberry pie to take home for Normous.
So many blip opportunities - I must come again!
