Ravine

Another intern outing, but this time only for an afternoon. We went for a hike in a ravine near Eksjö I think. Well although it was cool and we had a good time it wasn't the highlight of the day. This came in form of a Hitch Hiking Race to Oskarshamn about 130km away on the Baltic coast. The SAT had planned this as a last holiday thing before the large groups come in the next 4 weeks. And David (my room-mate and fellow maintenance team member) and I decided about 20min before leaving, that we would join them. So after the outing we got dropped off at a roundabout outside Eksjö and after praying we parted ways to try and get there. David and I managed to arrive in Oskarshamn as the third out of five teams and it took us 3 cars and maybe 3-4 hours. Luckily everyone managed to get there eventually and we told our stories until 1 in the morning while sitting around a nice camp-fire. We slept without tents just in the sleeping bags we brought hoping it wouldn't rain...
