The end of another era ...

He got his braces off today. :( He's happy. I'm happy too but also sad - my kids aren't really kids any more. They're young adults. To me, this makes that transition complete. They need me less and less. It makes me sad. But I'm happy with the young adults they are becoming. I know I have been a good mom. The good people I see everyday give me confidence in that fact.
