Weather-watching

A bit of a Monday lie-in having been woken fairly early by Bailey. We walked as soon as we were up and it was cool enough to do the whole of the big block for the first time in a few days. I headed out after breakfast to get one or two bits for the summer jobs list. 

This afternoon, Bailey and I have been doing some fettling in the garden. Cutting the grass, dead-heading roses, propping up the hydrangeas, clearing out the bird feeders and generally tidying. Bailey took on a supervisory role as usual. And tonight I had just about watered the whole garden when the rain started. Bailey had more sense and watched from inside.
