Lavendar

We called in to Terrington to pick up some lime mortar to repair some pointing. Our house is Georgian and made out of limestone so needs mortar that breathes. A very helpful young man gave us good advice on colour and quantities.

On the way home we detoured to Terrington's Lavendar farm. It was a good choice as the Lavendar was coming in to its prime. Not only were there many varieties on offer but they also had a huge selection of herbs. In the foreground they had Painted Sage which came in a range of colours. Families were enjoying the Lavendar maze and the shop, garden centre and cafe were doing a roaring trade.
