Dinky nature reserve.

A meeting in Saltaire this afternoon so I decided to walk there and back and get some steps in. Passed the dinky little nature reserve next to the canal at Hirst Wood.  Created in 2015 it's run by volunteers with help from the local primary school.  I lurked a little while to try and catch a bird on the bird table AND a human tootling by up above.  I got both... but just not at the same time:/  So no birdies... they were sniggering in the trees.

In the hide is a sign which reads:

Listen to the birds, feel the breeze, read a book, take a nap, sip a drink, relax.   

I like this place :)
