Manual Macro Monday

I decided to spend some of my first retired Monday sitting on my bottom on the patio watching a bee on my new snapdragon plant and pondering the dahlias.  Got the macro lens on, switched to manual, couldn't get a good shot of the big bee on the snapdragons, but the dahlias came up trumps!  At least I think so.

Still had to delete a lot of shots, but at least I had time to think about ISO and Shutterspeed and experiment with the aperture a bit.

Did I learn much?  Well, no, but I do seem to be able to work things out a little better than this time last week!
