Remotely Cool
One of the very odd things to wrap your head around in Copenhagen is the remote-heating system. Basically, your hot water is delivered to your door, you don't need a boiler or electrical heating - it arrives boiling hot, from underground and is quite literally on-tap. It's been around for decades here. The new developments over the road (Carlsberg Town) will be a world first with remote-cooling. The entire neighbourhood will have cold water available in the same way for air-conditioning. Pretty cool.
Had a meeting about being a freelance photographer today, went well - should sign a contract in a couple of weeks and start getting some work from September. Nothing exciting (or fortune making) - fixed product shots on white but still great news.
