Clairvoyant Prince Charming?

I was going to clean the filters to the goldfish pond. I opened the top and his little fellow startled me. I didn't expect to see a frog here!  It was sitting still for a long time, didn't wink an eye even. Ok, I get it. You sit still and hoping not to be detected.
While it was sitting, and I was waiting for it to move, I notice it was it was two eye - on the same side - watching me!  I never notice this in a frog before :-) 

It's a common frog (rana temporaria).
