In clover
Even during hard core fishing trips such as this one, there are moments when you have to lay down your fishing rod and take in the life around you. This dark green fritillary (I think) was simply begging to be photographed.
We're fishing (or were fishing, since this is a back-blip) near a place called Meldal on the Orkla, a river that drains in to the Trondheim Fjord.
I don't enjoy flying (who does?) but Norwegian Airlines is an excellent service. It has Dreamliner aircraft which are so much better than the regular sardine can - more legroom, much more headroom and locker space, better air conditioning and quieter engines. It made the journey far more tolerable than some I've taken.
