I saw the theme for today's Mono Monday and thought it would be the ideal time to try out the ring/heart/book thing that I've always intended to have a go at.

There are obvious links here between the ring and the book creating the heart - love of books.

But more personally this is the ring I gave Blaze for his 21st.  I've worn it since his death (fitted me perfectly!).  And he and I shared a love of books - our closest reading link being fantasy novels.

I had intended the usual image of the heart connecting to, but fully below, the ring, but I accidentally took this while setting up the light and I really like the way the heart links through rather than just to the ring.
