Go Mo!!!

Our trip to London was to attend the Anniversary Games at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park today. B was given a ticket as a Christmas present from R & P, and it was planned that he would attend with R, but her holiday plans changed and she & P flew out to India last night. They have gone trekking to 6,000 + feet :0(  
 
So I got her ticket!!!!
 
We had a brilliant day, saw Mo do 5,000m in less than 13 minutes and many other events as well. It was our first visit to the stadium as we weren’t able to get tickets for the Olympics and the atmosphere was awesome. The weather was so hot …..29 degrees!!!

We are staying at the Union Jack Club at Waterloo, so took an alternative way back. DLR to Royal Victoria, then the Emirates Air Line cable car over to North Greenwich. We hadn’t been to the O2 before, so had a chance to look round before getting the tube back.
 
A great day of many firsts for us :0)
