Float On By

On the first tee at 07:20 this morning. My scores on the first five holes were (in this order) 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 - a decent poker hand! Not a great start (though the 3 was a birdie) and it didn't get any better ending up 38th out of 63 competitors. And it rained.

Never mind, after lunch and a few chores I popped down to Bristol Zoo for just an hour, a nice thing about being a member. I find the butterfly house quite therapeutic. They float on by with no regard for people and settle so close you can't even focus at that range! My lens isn't very fast and the light is quite subdued so a bit of PS lightening and noise reduction to make this image presentable. Not my sharpest shot of the visit but I like it.
