Nigg to Cromarty Swim

We went back to Cromarty today to see the crowning of the Gala Queen, prince and Princess. It was quite cold so I think the Royalty were glad to have their cloaks to keep them warm.
Next up around 30 swimmers swam from Nigg to Cromarty, in open water. It was great to see so many inspirational sports men and women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Well done to all who took part. The swimmers were supported by several kayakers , RNLI lifeboat from Invergordon and the Coast Guards.
We stayed dry for the event with heavy downpours when we got home.
