Mandy the Mandarin

I haven't been to Maxwell Park for many weeks but as I was going over to Pollokshields this afternoon I decided to take a few minutes to visit the pond.  
I regularly meet an elderly gentleman down by the pond's edge.  I call him 'The Bird Man' .... he has names for all his feathered friends and today he introduced me to Mandy, the mandarin duck.  Sadly she has no mate at present.
