Nile view

On the banks of The Nile in central Cairo.

An impromptu visit with a friend I ran into earlier this afternoon. Nice way to spend an hour or two. And despite being almost under a busy bridge in Agouza, the traffic noise is calmed by this expanse of water.

And as a noisy party boat went by with only two passengers and the song 'C'est la vie' my friend commented that maybe there is a message in that.
