Look who dropped in

Another walk looking for Fritillary butterflies without success.  The Marbled Whites seem to have finished but there are still some tiny Skippers to be seen along with the various white ones.

We sat in the conservatory to watch the Grand Prix and out of the corner of my eye I caught what I thought was a leaf skipping along the patio.  "What the ......" I thought and turned to see a frog which had come to a halt and seemed to be a tad out of breath.  Camera in hand I walked slowly towards it and it very obligingly let me take a few shots.  It has since cleared off into one of the borders and will no doubt help itself to a slug or two.  Hurrah!

The extra is of an ant on a nasturtium.  I just liked the colours.
