Open Garden

I met my mum at open garden this morning in aid of the Cheshire Homes, a local charity that cares for disabled people. The garden was just at a private house and wasn't a huge affair like the others. There was lots of plants in full bloom including these alliums. There was also a wonderful display of sweet peas which smelt fantastic. They had a raffle, a plant stall and a nice selection of cakes all being sold for the charity. I bought my mum some fairy cakes and brought home a rather yummy apricot and almond tart.

We deposited our purchases in our cars and went for a stroll around the lanes before saying our goodbyes and going our separate ways.
