Who needs Pokemon?

Lots of people of all ages out and about, visiting places they haven't been before, collecting the set. Not Pokemon Go but the Oor Wullie statues in Dundee. We were up in the Ferry to see my sister and nephew who are up staying with my Dad and had a meal in The Ship again - from where you could see one of the statues. So, although we didn't have time to collect any more of the set, we did take some pictures of this one - painted as an RNLI lifeboat crew member. While we were there there was a steady stream of people arriving to take their own pictures - public art that seems to have captured the public imagination. And from just that one I've seen it seems very aware of its setting - see the detail of the bucket remembering the Mona on one of my extra pics. The other extra picture is the bench in the 'fishermen's graveyard' in the Ferry remembering Mum that my Dad has had installed. Nice to see her remembered in the fabric of the community.
