Interesting raven encounter

As I was out walking along a road beside North Barriere Lake a jogger who had passed me earlier was returning. It seemed he was carrying an object which projected from his left side. In a couple seconds this object separated from him. It turned out to be this raven which was flying in front of him at head height. He told me the raven had followed him for quite some distance and when he turned around the raven followed him back. As jogger and raven came closer to me the raven flew up into a tree.
