poppy

At least, I think this is a poppy; the leaves look very similar to the poppies we have growing in the garden (carefully cultivated, honest, not just blown in by the wind and spreading like wildfire). Whatever they are the colour is really vivid (this doesn't really do it justice) and are all over the place at the moment.
