Through the door.

Bologna used to have a large number of canals- this is now the only one left. You can view it from a little hole in a wall ( covered by a door).

We have wandered all over the city again today- with a brief stop in an enoteca ( voted the best wine shop in Italy ). It would have been rude not to purchase a bottle or two...
