Clouds Lower than the Arran Hills

17.3C and mostly cloudy with some brighter spells. Moderate SSE breeze.

Another quiet Saturday.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after the F1 qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix had finished. No iPod today. We went out past the harbour and had a wander round the old quay. BBC Holland was back at the new quay which Vectis Harrier had vacated yesterday. Wind turbine towers have been offloaded, and more are onboard.

We carried on along the shore side of the narrow park  and went out Kilkerran road as far as the Goldsmith's studio where we turned to come back. The clouds out in Kilbrannan sound were lower than the Arran Hills.

We wandered back along the street side of the park and came home though town passing the town hall and the second hand bookshop on the way.

Afternoon music ... Mark Knopfler's Sailing to Philadelphia.

Note: For those of you with very good eyesight, I left the lone Gannet in the picture on purpose.
