An appointment

Euan had an outpatient appointment at the children's hospital this morning and I wondered if we would see their Auntie Catriona who is on placement there! A wee whatsapp message just as she went on her break made for a lovely excited meet up in the waiting area. Great to see her.

Euan then had his appointment with the orthopaedic consultant (which was where I had originally thought he had been referred to, rather than podiatry!) who has come to the conclusion (which I had also originally thought!) that he has an exceptionally tight Achilles' tendon in his right ankle and he should be referred to physio. She didn't see much of a difference in leg lengths (mm rather than cm) so that is a relief. All this time and quite a few appointments to get to where I thought he should be originally! We are there now at least and just waiting on a referral to physio to come through now.
