#BFGDreamJars: The Heart Takes Over

The BFG, a 1982 book by Roald Dahl is dominated by the human-friendly Big Friendly Giant who nightly blows bottled dreams into the bedrooms of children, one of which appears to have been left behind outside the Royal Exchange!

In fact, this dream jar is one in a series within the dream jar trail, part of a promotion for the forthcoming Spielberg produced and directed film, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Dahl's birth. David Weir CBE, the Paralympic athlete dreamt this one. Despite being born without the use of his legs, be dreamed of being a world champion from an early age. "As a child I dreamed of being a footballer. When my legs couldn't carry me there, my heart and lungs took over. They made me the althlete I am today."

London was steaming today, which wasn't good for the trains either. After a successful and productive meeting, the train said no. A scheduled journey of 1 hour and 1 minute took nearly 2 ½ hours, thanks to a non-specified track failure near Colchester.
