Athabasca Glacier

Wow- the scenery today as we drove from Calgary through Banff and Jasper National parks was absolutely breathtaking. An all day drive but with lots of stops to take in the highlights. This is R&M building a cairn in the old path of the Athabasca glacier that has retreated 1.5km in the last 100 years.  
The other highlight was the amazing Mistaya Canyon. Extra is  son M playing with my little Canon EOSM that I have given to him because he has started a 6m placement in Norway for his degree and needs a better camera.( He has decided to Blip for 6m) Son R looking on bored.
