White and nearly black

Apologies for the fact that I totally missed that there was a theme for today’s Flower Friday. I really must check well in advance so that I can properly participate in the challenge. 
For today’s blip I am posting a white poppy – not quite perfect as there is a creature that seems to have taken a liking to its petals, just one petal had been attacked by the time I photographed it. My extra is a nearly black Hollyhock that looked striking in the sunlight.
