.....off my list.
This stool was a wedding present 48 years ago and was looking a little the worse for wear (bit like me!).  A friend re-stained it for me and today I fitted a new cover on the seat pad - only the third one it has had.  I find it so useful and it is used most days  In the winter I have it against a radiator and sit on it to warm by back.  Today it would have been better against something a lot colder..
