Ferdenrothorn / Swiss national day

We had the day off due to the swiss national day and got up way too early for a public holiday.
We hiked up the Ferdenrothorn. The route we picked was quite long (more than 9 hours), with a lot of scree and big loose stones and boulders to scramble over (seemingly endless...).
Anyway, pictures turned out quite nice.

I loved coming back home way too late but together with a wonderful thunderstorm that lighted up the sky equally to the fireworks.
