I thought the dinner would be a good time talking about funny things (yeah we talked about some) lol but it turned out to be a VERY serious discussion of teachers and TA :) The meaning of teaching, the general problems Asian students have, critical thinking, the difficulties of teaching etc.etc.............I ENJOYED IT!

(Somehow I can see myself becoming a teacher of History or English in 10 yrs' time...;D but I wanna teach in an int'l school. In local schools teachers have to give too much pressure due to yucky syllabus...history teachers must train students to write perfect papers every day...English teachers cannot share the real value of the adorable language...students dislike humanities cuz they hate to “recite” a lot...that's awful. )
