Baltic cruise (Day 3 – Copenhagen)
Mrs Lomond & I got on a bus into the town and walked around seeing some of the sights and soaking up the atmosphere (Dad’s leg was playing up so he opted to stay on board).
A really nice compact city, especially so on such a lovely day. Lots of canals, bridges & bicycles, some beautiful and different architecture (Danish design of course being world renowned) and a vibrant harbour area.
We walked back to the ship mid-afternoon, and then Dad came back out with me and we walked along to the famous Little Mermaid statue which was just 10 minutes along the waterfront from where we were docked.

Extra 2 – The Oresund Bridge links Sweden (Malmo) to Denmark (Copenhagen) – you may be familiar with it from the excellent ‘Scandi Noir’ TV drama The Bridge.
